How to Show Available Appointment Times Without Posting Stories Every Day
You do not need to rewrite your availability in Stories every day. One current booking link lets clients choose a service and a suitable time themselves.
“Tomorrow I have 11:00, 2:30, and 5:00 available.” A beauty professional posts the list in a Story, but an hour later one time is already booked. Clients still see the old post and start asking: “Is 2:30 still free?”, “What do you have on Thursday?”, or “Is there anything after work?” The availability list has to be rewritten almost every day.
Stories are not the problem. The problem is that a static post becomes outdated quickly. One booking link should be the permanent source of current availability, while Stories can occasionally draw attention to it.
Why lists of available times become outdated
A Story shows the calendar only as it looked when it was posted. A new booking, cancellation, or reschedule can make the information incorrect. You still have to check the calendar before every reply, and the client cannot tell how different service durations affect the options.
For example, a 60-minute opening may fit one treatment but not another. A simple list of times therefore does not always mean every client can choose every opening.
Make one link the main source of availability
Place your personal online booking link where clients can easily find it: in a social media profile, pinned message, page description, or saved reply. Avoid creating different links for different channels. One permanent link is easier for you to manage and easier for clients to recognise.
A short message is enough: “See current available times here.” The client does not have to wait for a reply, and you do not have to copy your whole calendar into a chat.
Set up services and realistic durations first
An available time depends on both your working hours and the selected service. Give every service a clear name, current price, and realistic duration. Include normal preparation and finishing time when they use part of the appointment.
If a basic and advanced option take very different amounts of time, create separate services. This prevents a client from choosing a short opening for a treatment that needs twice as long.
Show only the hours when you can really work
Your schedule should reflect a real week, not an ideal one. Set working hours and block days off, personal commitments, and breaks in advance. If you need time between clients, account for it when setting service durations or organising the calendar.
The more accurate these settings are, the fewer appointments you will have to move manually. Clients should be able to treat every displayed time as a genuine invitation to book.
Use Stories for attention, not as your calendar
You do not need to abandon Stories. They work well when a time suddenly opens today or when you want to remind followers about next week. Instead of typing a long list of hours, post one short sentence and your link.
For example: “One appointment opened today. See current availability through the link.” Even if someone opens the Story later, the link shows the latest schedule rather than an outdated screenshot.
Do not turn every opening into a discount
If you constantly discount a service simply because there is room in the calendar, clients may learn to wait for a lower price. First make the opening visible: share the link, mention which service can fit, or remind people that booking is open.
A discount can be an occasional separate decision, but it should not replace an understandable booking system. An open time is a normal part of a schedule, not evidence that the service has become less valuable.
Update the calendar immediately after changes
A current link is useful only when the calendar is current. Release the time after a cancellation, check both appointments after a reschedule, and block a personal commitment as soon as it appears. Do not wait until the evening: another client could select an interval that is no longer available.
A useful rule is to update the calendar first and send a message or post a Story second. Every click on the link will then lead to the correct availability.
How KLIOSO helps
In KLIOSO, a professional adds services with prices and durations, sets a working schedule, and gets a personal online booking page. A client opens the link, selects a service, sees suitable available times, and creates the appointment. The new appointment appears in the KLIOSO calendar.
One link connects your service list, schedule, and client booking. You no longer need to rebuild a list of openings manually after every change.
The main takeaway
A Story can attract attention, but it should not be your only calendar. Set up services and working hours, keep your schedule current, and direct clients to one permanent link. You will receive fewer “What times do you have?” messages and find it easier to share a newly available appointment without starting a separate conversation with every client.
